Pair of TRIALTECH SPORT brakes + MAGURA HS calipers rim front rear

Description

Trialtech Sport Complete Brake. This entry-level version has also been tested by world champion Jack Carthy, Crewkerz rider. Quality, ergonomics, and power are all there! The body is forged and then CNC machined from a solid block, which improves its strength.
The ergonomic lever allows for multiple adjustments and is equipped with a 13mm diameter injected nylon piston with two O-rings.

The lever pivot is secure and can be changed to add color with the Trialtech finishing kit (sold separately).
The bleed screw is ideally positioned for efficient bleeding without changing the lever angle.

A specific bleed fitting is included with the lever.

• low profile ‘leg-saver’ split clamp using a custom forged 7075 bolt
• optimal main hose exit angle helps prevent tangled and damaged hoses
• custom extra-tough M6 cr-moly bleed blanking screw
• supplied with a unique custom made bleed adaptor and hose
• left or right side specific but can be flipped in urgent situations (the pivot pin should be turned around for added security)
• unique sprung TPA indexed/locking feature prevents the adjuster moving during use

Custom CNC’d aluminium Short Reach (SR) blade features reduced reach and two finger braking area (14% shallower than standard blade) designed specifically to increase the lever comfort and performance for riders with smaller hands/fingers.

Standard lever blade

• max. reach*: 97mm
• min. reach* at full travel with no TPA: 35mm
• min. reach* at full travel with full TPA (max. 5mm recommended): 49mm

Shore Reach – SR lever blade

• max. reach*: 67mm
• no limit on minimum reach with full TPA (max. 5mm recommended)

* Reach measured from centre of bar to front edge of the lever blade brake surface.

Hose and connectors

• MAGURA solid and hard plastic hose is used for the liquid line
• the hose can be shortened (with a sharp knife) if necessary, but it must be refitted with fittings and end caps for the brake/caliper and lever connections

Caliper

• caliper is used from rim hydraulic brake model MAGURA HS
• one type of caliper is used for both sides or model M6/M8
• designed for all types of MAGURA HS rim hydraulic brakes but also other types of rim levers such as TRIALTECH, SamOne, CLEAN Trials etc.
• the calipers are equipped with a plastic split ring, which allows the movement of the caliper in the clamps or mounting on the frame in the horizontal direction, but also allows the caliper to tilt (limited) so that the blocks are rotated parallel to the braking surface of the rim

The brake cannot be filled with DOT brake fluid!
